ZKJ Child Protection Co-Ordinator

Louise McQuillan is probably one of the most successful female fighters this island has seen, with a fight Karate spanning the best part of 15 years, she collected Irish, Northern Irish and British Titles not to mention winning the Jersey International two years running.

However this is not the end of Louise's credentials, she holds a degree in Sports Management and has qualified in first aid, Child Protection and works full time with Mencap.

Louise holds the most important role within Zanshin Karate Jutsu, Child Protection Officer and Junior Club Co-ordinator. Without Louise's expertise and persistance Zanshin Karate Jutsu would not have the first class procedures and quality Junior Club that it has today.

Recently Zanshin Karate Jutsu had the priviledge of being able to send 3 of its Junior Club to represent Northern Ireland at the World Championships in Gernmany. Louise was instrumental in ensuring the 3 boys made it to and from the championships safely. Not only did she ensure all procedures were adhered to, she took on the role of coach and mentor to the boys, taking them to Squad training sessions with the NI team and ensuring their respective parents had all the necessary information regarding the trip to give them peace of mind and confidence in Zanshin Karate Jutsu.

Louise's wealth of knowledge of competition karate coupled with her professional expertise have made her an invaluable asset to Zanshin Karate Jutsu, in a nutshell we would not exist as we do today without her.

Louise has also taken many self protection courses and is avaiable to take courses specifically designed for woman only, she can be contacted through karatejutsu1@ntlworld.com
