Junior Development Academy
The ZKJ Academy has been established to cater for the large junior club that exists within ZKJ. The Academy promotes health and fitness, social inclusion and an outlet that everyone involved can enjoy and learn in a fun and controlled environment.
The Academy also promotes and instills confidence and self-belief in its members by continually rewarding effort on a regular basis. A sense of failure does not exist in the academy and as such our chilren can grow and develop at their own speed with the expert help of our coaches.
The Academy works hand in hand with our overall system and works as a stepping stone towards every aspect of karate jutsu while focusing on building the childrens confidence towards the competitive scene if that indeed is what they wish.
Already the Academy has seen success at local level competition and reached its ultimate peak when 3 founder members of the Academy reached World Level and competing for Ulster at the World Karate Championships.
